Why a pressure lab?

Knowing is not the same as doing.

A seller can describe good discovery or objection handling and still lose control when a sceptical buyer questions value, timing or risk.

The Pressure Lab makes that gap visible in a safe but credible setting. The team works through a realistic deal scenario while NewSkilz observes what they ask, hear, explain and avoid. The feedback is behavioural, direct and immediately usable.

  • Expose habits that normal training never reveals
  • Practise cross-functional teamwork under pressure
  • Build a shared language for coaching sales behaviour
  • Convert observation into individual priorities

The scenario is adapted to your market, sales motion and typical stakeholder tensions.

Formats

Eight sessions. Repeated practice.

We tailor the scenarios to the customer conversations your people need to handle.

Individual

One-to-one video call series

Eight one-hour video call sessions for one person. Each session includes live rehearsal, with an assignment and individual feedback afterwards.

Team

Group workshop series

Eight one-hour group workshops. Participants practise together, then receive assignments and feedback after each session.

Across either format, the work can cover discovery, solution presentation, difficult buyer questions and the moments that matter most to your team.

Who it is for

Small group. Senior attention.

Designed for people who need to win trust and move complex B2B decisions forward.

01

Account executives

Sellers managing discovery, demonstrations and decisions involving multiple stakeholders.

02

Sales & solution leaders

Managers who want behavioural evidence and a sharper basis for coaching the team.

03

Customer success & presales

Professionals expected to connect technical possibilities to business outcomes and adoption.

“The useful question is not whether your team knows the model. It is what they do when a buyer challenges the value.”

Practice variants

Use the lab around the conversation that actually matters.

The Pressure Lab is a method, not a content-heavy course. Scenarios can be shaped around the team's real selling situation.

Presentation

Solution Presentation Rehearsal

Present, handle questions, receive feedback and retry the difficult sections.

Decision

Stakeholder Decision Meeting

Practise leading a meeting with buyers who hold different priorities and concerns.

Teamwork

AE–SE Co-Presentation Handoff

Rehearse the commercial-to-technical transition, buyer questions and recovery moments.

Questions

Pressure Lab FAQs.

Is this a test or an assessment centre?

No. It is a demanding development experience, not a pass-or-fail exercise. The aim is to make behaviour visible and improve it, with psychological safety and clear confidentiality boundaries.

Can you use one of our real opportunities?

The lab can reflect your buyers, proposition and sales motion, but it is normally safer and more useful to create a realistic composite scenario rather than expose a confidential live deal.

How large can a group be?

We agree group size during scoping so everyone has useful practice time and individual feedback.

Where does it run?

The one-to-one series runs by video call. We agree the group workshop setting and delivery details when scoping your brief.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on location, scenario customisation and follow-up. Share your team and timing, and NewSkilz will provide a clear scope and fee before any commitment.
