Business Background (15 years)

Based in China since 1999, he continues to offers diverse professional strength and reputation in communications training and coaching at the mid to senior level focused on needs related to leadership, cross-culture, media/PR on camera skills and related soft skills (presentation, pitches, scripts, sales, negotiations) . His experience includes design and delivery of a variety of courses and coaching/workshops for multinational companies, organizations and universities, with his approach richly influenced by substantial experience as a performing artist. This includes his work on stage, on TV, in concert as a professional emcee, professional actor and show host, concert jazz pianist. Also critical being based in mainland China, he delivers a deep understanding of the China business and cultural environment. He is a published author of two books including a book on China’s rising middle class/cash economy and society.

Training Experience (17 years)

Current engagements since 2015 include: KONE Elevator Co. Kunshan - designed and executed four retreat programs and coaching for KONE's executive leadership team (25 people) including team building activities, survival simulation workshops, leadership review, strategy planning and facilitation of brainstorming/planning sessions to identify and tackle most pressing challenges CBRE - media/PR training workshop project for three groups of CBRE's top APAC regional executives, preparing them to effectively interview with the media in line with CBRE's PR and Crisis response guidelines. Geodis Freight Forward, France's largest logistics firm - designed and executive multiple programs - Three 2 day sales skills workshops for the entire sales channel/customer service team (60 people in three groups of 20), business writing/communications workshop for administrative team, Negotiation Skills for key domestic/international sales channel teams Geely Automotive - six month full time project working onsite at Geely's Hangzhou HQ with the HR department to design and execute weekly sessions focused on communication and cross cultural skills in English; attendees included mid and senior department personnel from sales (domestic and international), marketing, legal, engineering, IT, administrative and Human Resources Dow Chemical - designed and executed media/PR skills annual review workshop for Dow's communications/PR department.
