Business Background (17 years)

A very polite German, based in Shanghai since 2006, with an aptitude for languages he speaks fluent English, Mandarin, French and German. With more than 25 years of China experience and having lived in Shanghai for 12 years, he is a Cross-Cultural Leadership and Soft Skills Facilitator, NLP Practitioner, Certified Organizational Coach (IECL) and ACC (Associated Certified Coach) of ICF. Having a degree in Industrial Business Management, Sinology and Ethnology, he first came to China in 1990 to continue his studies on Chinese language, philosophy and literature at the Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. Coming back to China again in 2005 and working for the German Chamber of Commerce honed his skills in Inter-Cultural Communication. Klaus’ business expertise lies in professional Marketing, Public Relations and specializing in tourism and travel promotion in China. As an executive coach, he is an excellent listener and has a wealth of experience to draw from in helping clients focus on both measurable business improvement goals and leadership development.

With extensive coaching certifications and real world practice, he is qualified to coach senior managers and deal with large groups in training workshops in an assertive yet friendly manner.
